Is the Leadership Accelerator Program for Me?

We have had several people ask us if the Leadership Accelerator Program is good for them. Some are new to nonprofit leadership and others have been around for a while. And the answer is emphatically – YES! to all!

What is it?

The SideKick Nonprofit Leadership Accelerator is a leadership development program specifically designed for nonprofit leaders that is customized to your personal strengths.

Who should participate?

The program is for seasoned, new, emerging and aspiring nonprofit leaders. You don’t have to be an executive director or even senior leadership to join. You just have to want to learn more about yourself and how to leverage your strengths into being a great nonprofit leader so your organization can be more successful and sustainable.

Why would I want to participate in this program?

  1. To grow as a nonprofit leader: This program uses the CliftonStrengths assessment tool to uncover your unique talents. We then apply your talents to unique aspects of nonprofit management to help you learn how to master the balancing act of nonprofit leadership, build strong relationships, and discover how to identify critical complementary partnerships.
  2. Strategic personal development: aligning your unique talents to the complexity of leading within your organization. We will co-create an actionable plan to help you address key areas of development.
  3. Ongoing support for your journey: We don’t just say goodbye at the end of the day. Through our online community, we will provide monthly group coaching, supporting your action planning and resources to help you continue your nonprofit leadership growth.
  4. Access to a network of peers who “get it”: You will develop a peer support network during the in-person program that will be sustained after through our online community. Your class will have a private group on the Nonprofit SideKick network where you can exchange resources, stories and cheer each other on.

What happens on the day of the in-person program?

At the workshop, we will discuss how nonprofit leaders need to balance a double bottom line, multiple customers, dueling leadership skills, the shared leadership structure with your board, and the conflicting priorities of caring for your organization and caring for yourself.

Each step of the way, we help you discover how to leverage YOUR unique talents to master these challenges and find success for your organization. We will use group discussions, breakouts, group coaching, creative discovery and, of course, will have healthy snacks and lunch to power your brain.

What happens after the workshop?

After the workshop, we will continue to support you through our online network. When you register for the Leadership Accelerator, you get free membership to our online community of nonprofit leaders AND membership in a private group of your fellow Accelerator participants. The NSPK online community has workshops, articles and resources for every nonprofit leader, weekly Huddles (live meet ups on Zoom) where we talk about anything and everything nonprofit, and live online events with experts. Your private Accelerator group will have monthly Huddles just for your group where you can bring your questions, conundrums and celebrations! These meet ups will help you continue your journey and, if needed, hold you accountable for your professional growth.

When you register for this class, you immediately become a member and can access the weekly peer support groups, resources and templates. We encourage you to wander around and see what is there.

How do I register?

Go HERE and register on Nonprofit SideKick’s Mighty Network. After you register on the SideKick Network, you will get a link from Steph to take the CliftonStrengths assessment online. Your personal report will be emailed to you and Steph. When you register, you will immediately become a member of the network and access all of the resources.
